If each anti-horse-slaughter person would adopt one horse per week, there would be no problem.<br /><br />There should, of course, be a program encouraging the adoption of hard-to-place horses, such as strikers, kickers, hard keepers and foundered horses.<br /><br />We are certain that the warm hearts of those opposed to horse slaughter can solve the problem. <br /><br />Some people of especially noble feelings may also have concern for those unable to acquire cheap horsemeat as food.
