I just have to wonder about the repercussions, and what the next solution will be. :(wvfarmgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13094014775730589341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6460941708854974581.post-81569131818229012962008-12-04T15:27:00.000-05:002008-12-04T15:27:00.000-05:00"If Sugarcreek closes down, do we then have to dea..."If Sugarcreek closes down, do we then have to deal with loose horses starving this winter because their owners had no place to dump them and were too stupid to do the right thing?"

Yeah but two wrongs don't make a right.

It's illegal to starve a horse. We need to push law enforcement to step up their efforts. No more wimpy judges or slap-on-the-wrist punishments.funchyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11736824854383702506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6460941708854974581.post-4647142999724301482008-12-04T08:01:00.000-05:002008-12-04T08:01:00.000-05:00Ahhhh... this is good to see! But I have to wonde...Ahhhh... this is good to see! But I have to wonder what will happen if he does shut down the auction. Then where will the back yard breeders go to dump their unwanted? Not that I support the practice, but doesn't that pose a new problem? If Sugarcreek closes down, do we then have to deal with loose horses starving this winter because their owners had no place to dump them and were too stupid to do the right thing?

When the auction in Mineral Wells closed down all the locals seemed to think that there was no more horse slaughter. If I had a dollar every time someone asked me why I was rescuing since there weren't any more horses going to slaughter, I'd be able to build a new barn. I have to wonder if that same ignorance would affect locals if Sugarcreek closes.wvfarmgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13094014775730589341noreply@blogger.com
