U.S. Against Equine Slaughter

There are 9.2 million horses in America. The percentage of so called "un-wanted" horses going to slaughter each year is only 1% of the total number. The is NO WAY a market can be "glutted" based on 1% of its overall volume. The "excess" numbers can easily be absorbed IF only the breeders would take SELF-RESPONSIBILITY for each life they bring into the world. Horse-slaughter is an Un-necessary evil and is used ONLY by those seeking an easy, profitable way to dispose of their "Industry Cast-Offs."

But however you look at it, there aint no gettin' around it, I'm jus' an ole' x-hippy-chick, struggling ever "onward through the fog" of life,....still here, still standin,..still laughing, after all these crazy years, and whats more amazing yet, still with at least some functioning brain cells!(Though through absolutely no fault of my own.
